Bolly Skyline Enduro 2025 Marquee Setup: 2x 9m x 21m Festival Marquees for MTB Events in the Peak District

9 x 21m festival marquee for bollington mountain bike event

When the foothills of the Peak District come alive with the sound of tires on trails and the roar of an enthusiastic crowd, you know it's time for the Bolly Skyline Enduro. If you’re planning an outdoor sporting event, festival, or community weekend, one thing makes the biggest difference to the experience: a central marquee space that keeps people together—whatever the weather.

For Bolly Skyline Enduro (7–9 August 2025, Bollington, Cheshire) we provided two 9m x 21m marquees to form the heart of the event: a welcoming base for riders, volunteers, spectators, partners, and the evening entertainment.

The brief: a marquee that works all day… and all night

Bolly Skyline Enduro isn’t just a race. It’s an outdoor festival with an expo area, food and drink, music, and camping. The organisers needed a marquee setup that could flex across the weekend:

  • Daytime: shelter + social base + expo gathering point

  • Post-ride: space to refuel, regroup, and debrief

  • Evening: a proper party environment with room for crowds and a lively atmosphere

That’s exactly what our two 9m x 21m structures delivered—creating a consistent “home” for the community across the full event schedule

Why this marquee size works for sporting events and festivals

A 9m x 21m marquee is one of the most versatile options for event infrastructure because it can be configured for multiple purposes without feeling cramped.

Depending on layout, it can be styled for:

  • Expo + sponsor stands

  • Bar / serving area

  • Seating + social space

  • Stage / DJ set + dancefloor

  • Check-in / rider HQ / briefing area

For Bolly Skyline, the marquees sat alongside refreshment stalls and event infrastructure in the expo area, so they naturally became the “meet point” for the weekend.

Brewing Up Success: Partnership with Bolly Brewing

Festival marquee partnership with bollington brewering at bolly skyline enduro

One of the highlights of our setup was hosting Bolly Brewing throughout the weekend. As riders completed their rides across the stunning scenery of Bollington's ridges and peaks, they could celebrate their achievements with locally-brewed beer in the comfort of our marquees. The partnership between quality event infrastructure and quality local brewing created the perfect atmosphere for this North West England adventure.

Bolly Brewing's presence transformed our marquees into more than just spectator facilities—they became the social hub where the inclusive atmosphere that defines Bolly Skyline truly flourished. From post-practice stage debriefs to race day celebrations, the marquees buzzed with the energy of riders from all abilities sharing their experiences on the off-road trails and private land that make this event so special.

From chill-out zone to full party venue

By night, the same marquee space transformed into the legendary Bolly party atmosphere—complete with a DJ set that took the energy through the roof.

That “day-to-night” switch is why festival and sporting events love marquees: you can design the space once, then change the vibe with lighting, layout, and audio—without changing the footprint.

The highlight? Mountain biker Loose Dog Lewis took to the decks for a DJ set that absolutely turned the marquee into a zoo. Ex-World Champion Josh Bryceland's vision of creating an event that's "bigger, better and even more fun" came to life as riders, volunteers, and spectators packed into our marquees for an night of celebration.

The energy was incredible. Riders who had spent the day navigating bombholes and gaps now came together to celebrate their shared love of the sport.

The Bolly Experience: Festival Meets Adventure

The Bolly Skyline Enduro isn't just a race, it's an outdoor festival that happens to feature some of the most exhilarating mountain bike trails in the region. The expo, refreshment stalls, live bands, camping field, and our marquee setup all contribute to making this a destination event for the MTB enduro community.

As providers of the event venue infrastructure, we witnessed firsthand how the "leave no trace" ethos and commitment to the local community created something special. The stunning scenery of Bollington provided the backdrop, but it was the people, competitors and volunteers alike who brought the spirit.

Looking Ahead

Bolly Skyline Enduro 2025 reinforced what we already knew: great events need great infrastructure, but the best infrastructure disappears into the experience. Our 9 x 21m marquees provided over 375 square meters of versatile space that adapted from daytime community hub to nighttime party venue seamlessly.

From hosting Bolly Brewing's refreshments to providing the stage for Loose Dog Lewis to create absolute mayhem on the decks, our marquees played a supporting role in an event that's become a cult classic for good reason. The breathtaking trails, stunning scenery, and adrenaline-fueled action are what draw riders to Bollington each August, but it's the community gathering spaces—the camping field, the expo area, and yes, our marquees—that turn an MTB enduro into an unforgettable adventure.

If you're planning an outdoor event venue in the Peak District, North West England, or beyond—whether it's a mountain bike festival, community gathering, or any event that values inclusive atmosphere and shared experiences—we'd love to discuss how our marquee solutions can help create the heart of your event.

Because at the end of the day, it's not just about providing shelter. It's about creating spaces where communities can come together, where grins matter more than wins. We cant wait to be back for Bolly Syline Enduro 2026!

Planning a similar event? Here’s what we’d recommend

If you’re organising an outdoor event in Cheshire, the Peak District, the North West (or beyond) and need reliable event infrastructure, here are the key questions to plan your marquee around:

  1. What is the marquee’s main job? (expo, bar, stage, HQ, dining, all of the above)

  2. Peak capacity at busy moments

  3. Ground conditions (grass, field, hardstanding, slope)

  4. Power needs (bar, lighting, AV, refrigeration)

  5. Weather contingencies (wind/rain access + sheltered walkways)

  6. Flow: entrances/exits, queuing, crowd movement

Get those right and you get a marquee that doesn’t just “sit there”—it actively improves the event.
